Career Development for Organisations

Unlock employee potential

Investing in career development support develops new skills, accelerates careers, resolves challenges, and increases satisfaction at work. It can have a profound impact on organisational performance, with an increase in productivity, teamwork, engagement, and a decrease in people-related issues like absenteeism.*

I offer a professional and trusted career coaching service designed to help managers up to senior level career professionals navigate challenges, develop key skills, seize opportunities, and move forward with confidence and clarity.

*(Studies on the positive impact of career coaching include ICF’s Global Coaching Client Study and CIPD’s Research Reports on Coaching and Mentoring).

Career Development Coaching Outcomes

My coaching is tailored to each person and includes a robust coaching plan with clear objectives, actionable strategies and measurable progress. My process often includes creating a career vision and defining the value they bring.

Here are some of the typical outcomes I help coachees achieve:

Working with an objective, external coach allows employees to speak openly, surface hidden challenges and resolve issues more effectively.

Results can be measured through: standards of achievement / feedback / behavioural change / personal growth / satisfaction / sense of well-being.

“When I first started coaching I felt at a crossroads in my life not having clarity on what I wanted for my own work/life balance in the future or whether my current organisation would support me. By session 4 I had a clear idea of different options and was able to share this with my manager and to ask for their support. It was like a weight had been lifted and I now have a clear plan and feel committed to following through with this knowing that I have support to move forward.”

FAQ

I personalise my approach for every coachee, and we begin by defining priorities and ideal outcomes. A tailored coaching plan serves as a roadmap, enabling progress to be tracked along the way. I offer both support and challenge, helping coachees go beyond current thinking to generate new perspectives and overcome challenges with confidence and clarity.

Career Development coaching often includes a business sponsor, but this is not a necessity. It’s a decision for your organisation and I’m happy to discuss which approach could work best for you.

It’s very likely, as this is part of the coaching journey and learning. Anything I share will be designed to fit their goals and deepen insights and growth. Examples are leadership models, career-related exercises and tools to bring new insights and perspectives.

Career Development coaching is tailored to each person and their unique circumstances. 6-12 months is a typical timeframe, but the duration depends on factors such as the nature of their goals, the challenges they’re facing, and your budget. At the start, we’ll work together to agree on a timeline that suits your needs and priorities.

Coaching sessions take place online, with slots starting from 8:00am.  I aim to work with people’s busy schedules as much as possible.

Coaching sessions are usually online, but depending on budget, we can explore options for meeting in person (I am based in the West Midlands).

I’m fully committed to supporting your people and prioritising their success. Coaching outcomes are driven by the coachee’s level of commitment and willingness to take ownership and action. The specific results will depend on their priorities and dedication to implementing insights from the coaching journey.

Career Coaching is an investment in the personal and professional growth of your people. The price varies depending on the scope of the coaching, the duration of the engagement, and specific needs. I’d be happy to provide a tailored quote after discussing your goals and budget.
